Below is MOTH’s Statement of Objects that were adopted in 1993.
1. To protect, preserve and enhance the heritage value of the Tuggeranong Homestead site and environs (Section 450 Richardson in its entirety);
2. To encourage community recreational, educational, vocational and cultural activities on the entire Tuggeranong Homestead and environs site;
3. The protection, preservation and enhancement of the fauna and flora that are found within the bounds of the Tuggeranong Homestead and environs site;
4. Complete objection to urban residential development on any part of Section 450 Richardson; and
5. To investigate the possibilities of a community lease over the entire Tuggeranong Homestead and environs site.
